Lennart introduces MiLgårdarna

You and your group decide

MiLgårdarna consists of seven conference venues in the south of Sweden, all based on a simple and self-evident idea, that you and your group make the choices. Regarding everything. How you want to conduct your meetings, which meeting rooms you want to use – formal or informal; when you wish your meals and coffee to be served. You should be able to focus on reaching the goals you have set up for the meeting – secluded, in private and with a host who is there for you and your group.

We can offer this for many reasons:

One is that we don’t allow private guests and another that we rarely book more than one group at a time. You can work undisturbed and focused with your group. This is of course important for management teams meeting at MiLgårdarna to discuss strategic issues, but other groups also tend to appreciate it.

In both developmental programmes and in other important conferences, you wish to enhance your message and create a inspiring interaction between the participants. In those cases you have many options at MiLgårdarna; several conference rooms to choose from and plenty of break-out rooms with different character. At MiLgårdarna a large group can be divided into smaller groups of two or three persons who can carry on an undisturbed conversation in separate meeting rooms.

Most important is the attitude in the people you meet at MiLgårdarna, who are there to support your ambition to realize your best meeting so far. Your host with their staff.

When you have booked a venue, you “own” it, you are in charge. Our hosts are there for you and they adjust entirely to your wishes. But you can of course count on receiving a tip or two from your host, for instance on menus that are just right for meetings. Our hosts have a long experience of efficient meetings. They have never had to compromise between the requirements of conference guests versus those of leisure guests.

We are first and foremost in the “meeting industry”, even though MiLgårdarna can be compared to the very best in the “hotel and restaurant industry”.

My name is Lennart Rohlin and I am the CEO of MiLgårdarna. At the end of the 1970s I was part of creating an institute for management development, MiL Institute. With our ten-week long programme we stayed at many different conference venues. They were either large “conference factories” or small cosy lodgings houses. MiLgårdarna came into being with the ambition to unite the professional with an informal homely feeling. Both-and instead of either-or. That is still one of our guiding ideas.

Welcome to MiLgårdarna!
